The Nymi Band is a biometrically authenticated IOT wearable for high-value, high-security manufacturing and physical worker environments. Similar in form-factor to a smart-watch, used in large enterprises., especially pharmaceutical manufacturing.
My Role
As Director of Industrial Design & Mechanical Engineering during this project, I held full responsibility for any physical element of the product: look, feel, durability, material choices, manufacturing processes.
This project was a combination of Individual Contribution (e.g. research, design, CAD, renders, sourcing, prototyping, etc.) as well as managing in-house + external engineering talent.
